Farzad Zarakhsh was born in 1966 in the city of Isfahan-Iran. He was a member of the national taekwondo team of Iran from 1987 to 1996 and was the captain of Iran national team of taekwondo from 1991 to 1996. His professional achievements include 1. The bronze medal in the World Championship of 1989 held in Korea; 2. The gold medal in Asia-Pacific of 1996 held in Australia; 3. The silver medal in Asian Games of 1994 held in Japan; 4. The silver Asian medal of 1992 held in the Philippines; 5. The bronze medal in Asian Games of 1991 held in Taiwan; 6. The bronze medal in European Games of 1990 held in Paris; 7. The bronze medal in European Games of 1991 held in Belgium. He also actively participated in 1. The World Championship of 1991 held in Greece and 2. The World Championship of 1990 held in Spain. He is still prominent as he has held the following positions: 1. An international coach of World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) since 2018. 2.Black belt level 6 from WTF. 3. Head coach on taekwondo team of Saman Razm in the Taekwondo League of Iran. He has graduated from the University of Isfahan with Master’s Degree in physical education.
